Retail Backroom (Production) Associate - Hardlines

As a Retail Production Associate, you’ll play a critical role in processing and preparing non-clothing donations for the sales floor, helping turn everyday items into valuable resources that fund our programs.

Responsibilities

• Sort non-clothing ('hardlines') donations into sellable, salvage, or trash categories following Goodwill standards
• Assess quality and identify items of value for pricing
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality expectations
• Prepare donations for the sales floor
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and production areas
• Dispose of unsellable items using proper procedures (compactor/dumpster)
• Support donation door operations and assist with donation movement as needed

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and efficient, with a strong work ethic
• A team player who is ready to jump in and get the job done
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Ability to assess item quality and make sound decisions
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute every day
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently

Pay

$16.00–$17.00/hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Ongoing review of pay and benefits to remain competitive. Potential bonus eligibility for full-time employees.
