Retail Associate - Merchandising

About the role

One of our clients is seeking a hands-on Retail Associate - Merchandising to support store operations on a contract basis. This role involves maintaining product presentation and ensuring inventory accuracy during peak periods. Daily tasks include stocking shelves, setting up promotional displays, and processing customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise in designated store areas following visual merchandising standards.
• Rotate stock to ensure products are fresh and properly displayed per company guidelines.
• Assist in setting up seasonal or promotional displays to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
• Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies to management for resolution.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store sections to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience in retail merchandising or stocking within a fast-paced environment is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods while performing duties.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.
• Strong attention to detail when arranging products and checking stock levels.
• Customer service orientation with the ability to assist shoppers and answer product questions.
