Retail Associate - Firearms & Sporting Goods (Part-Time)

About the role

This job requires you to be at least 18 years old or older to sell firearms.

Responsibilities

• provide your customers with the know-how on everything from firearms and ammo, to camping and hiking, to hunting and fishing, plus much, much more.
• display down-to-earth product for an easy shopping experience.
• earn your customers’ smiles from the moment they walk in the door until they return to their car.

Requirements

• have a “can-do” attitude.
• know what gets you fired up to achieve your best productivity.
• be ready for a hard day's work on your feet with heavy and repetitive lifting.
• be able to legally own a firearm.
• work as a team to uphold our Mission, Values, and Principles—we call them our MVPs.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods of time.
• Repetitive wrist movements on the keyboard.
• Close vision for some PC work.
• Bending, carrying, pushing, and reaching overhead are required.
• Heavy and repetitive lifting (no more than 50 lbs).

Skills

• Knowledgeable about firearms, camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
