About the role
The Associate position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service for all current and prospective Members of The Bay Club Company and selling products to meet their current and future needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service, greet Members and guests; understand and anticipate their needs.
- Aid with inventory control; including timely receipt of product and physical inventory audits.
- Aid with daily/weekly merchandising of window displays, nesting tables and mannequins to represent new inventory.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with the Corporate Retail team, Club Managers and Associates.
- Accountable for store opening and closing duties including cash management and sales reporting.
- Maintain a clean, functional and safe work environment.
- Represent the Club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
- Enforce the policies and procedures of The Bay Club Company.
- Supports The Bay Club Company marketing events as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the hospitality industry or retail related position.
- On the job training will be provided for this position.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
- Associates Degree or equivalent accredited degree or professional certification is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- Ability to meet sales goals through appropriate actions and behaviors while providing exceptional guest service.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Club Managers, Associates, Members and the general public.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret directions provided by Club Management.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Computer proficiency preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the hospitality industry or retail related position.

Education
- Associates Degree or equivalent accredited degree or professional certification is preferred.
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Sitting and standing is as needed.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds while following Club issued safety standards.
