About the role

The Retail Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. They are responsible for greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy
• Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions politely and knowledgeably
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Manage stock and merchandise presentation
• Follow loss prevention and merchandise protection standards
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions

Qualifications and Special Skills

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop

The base pay range for this role is $15.16 - $15.66. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. In addition, all Full-Time Associates, including FT Retail Associate, Area Supervisor, Assistant Store Manager, and Store Manager, are eligible for extended benefits offered including Medical/Dental/Vision Health Insurance, Legal Insurance, Vacation Buy, Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account, Life/ADD Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Enhanced Maternity and Parental Leave Benefit, Vacation Pay accrued at a rate of 10 days/year after eligibility commences, 9 Personal and Company Holidays. AS, ASM, and SM Associates in Stores and Exempt Corporate and Buying Office roles are also eligible to receive a Bonus based on individual and business performance.
