About the role
The Retail Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. They are responsible for greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
- Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy
- Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions politely and knowledgeably
- Greet customers by making eye contact, smiling, and saying "hello" throughout the store
- Handle customer issues courteously and report unsafe conditions to leadership
- Perform daily cleaning tasks and maintain merchandise presentation
- Manage stockroom shifts as needed
- Follow loss prevention and merchandise protection standards
- Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions

The base pay range for this role is $17.00 - $17.50. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. AS, ASM and SM Associates in Stores and Exempt Corporate and Buying Office roles are also eligible to receive a Bonus based on individual and business performance.
