Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety by practicing safe behaviors and maintaining a secure shopping environment for customers and associates.
- Treat all customers and associates with respect, courtesy, and professionalism; greet customers warmly and assist them promptly.
- Handle customer service calls and issues efficiently, escalating to store leadership when necessary.
- Maintain a clean work area through tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
- Adhere to the company dress code and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform daily sizing and recovery tasks to ensure a neat, organized, and efficiently merchandised store.
- Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor, merchandising items according to company guidelines and maintaining brand familiarity.
- Understand and follow the Loss Prevention Awareness program, including merchandise protection standards and Mark-Out-of-Stock (MOS) policies.
- Handle cash, check, charge card, and refund transactions accurately and securely, following all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and maximize productivity by executing store best practices and minimizing unnecessary steps.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to use store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to regularly bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
- For stockroom shifts: Ability to regularly push, pull, and lift more than 20 pounds.
