About the role

The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. Key tasks include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, responding to customer inquiries, and performing various cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy
• Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions politely and knowledgeably
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and replenishing supplies
• Manage inventory and merchandise presentation
• Follow loss prevention and merchandise protection standards
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates
• Basic mathematical skills
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications and Special Skills

• Effectively communicate with customers and associates
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to use all store equipment, including point of sale terminals, registers, and computers
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds for stockroom shifts
