About The Role

The Retail Associate at Lone Mountain Ranch helps create a welcoming and memorable guest experience within the Ranch retail spaces and Outpost. This position combines hospitality, guest engagement, merchandising, and day-to-day retail operations while serving as a knowledgeable resource for guests visiting the Ranch. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has an eye for presentation and organization, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Retail Associates work closely with the Retail team and other guest-facing departments to ensure guests feel welcomed, informed, and well cared for throughout their experience.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests into the retail space with warmth, professionalism, and hospitality
• Assist guests with product selections, local recommendations, and information about Ranch activities and events
• Operate the POS system and process guest transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing retail displays and merchandise areas
• Restock merchandise and assist with inventory organization and monthly inventory counts
• Share knowledge about featured products, local artisans, and Ranch offerings with guests
• Assist with guest check-ins for Ranch experiences and special events as needed
• Support overall Outpost operations and assist other departments when needed
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude while contributing to a welcoming guest environment

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining visually appealing spaces
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable, proactive, and willing to assist with a variety of operational needs
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills preferred
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise or supplies as needed
• Interest in hospitality, retail, and creating memorable guest experiences
