About the role
As a Retail Associate you will be the front‑line ambassador of the Grandpa Joe’s experience. You’ll greet guests, guide them through their visit, and ensure they leave happy and eager to return. The role blends sales with creating memorable, community‑focused experiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude.
- Assist shoppers in finding products and provide knowledgeable candy recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, inviting store environment and execute visual‑merchandising displays.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in community events and store promotions.
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve store goals and uphold a supportive, family‑oriented atmosphere.
Requirements
- Dependable and able to work 15–25 hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Outgoing personality with a sense of humor; enjoys interacting with both kids and adults.
- Team‑player who understands the impact of individual actions on the whole crew.
- Attention to detail and a passion for keeping the workspace clean and well‑presented.
- Self‑motivated energy; balances following directions with driving the store forward.
- Retail experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule
The position is part‑time (15–25 hours per week). Availability is required for weekends, evenings, and holidays, with most shifts occurring at night and on weekends; additional shifts are available throughout the week.
