About the role
Goodwill Industries of Middle GA and the CSRA seeks individuals who can help build lives, families, and communities through work and career services.
Responsibilities
- Teach work ethic and passion for quality to customers seeking training or job placement assistance.
- Greet and assist customers in merchandise selection.
- Operate store cash register in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure good customer relations.
- Rotate merchandise from sales floor as instructed.
- Properly record rotation numbers.
- Aid in display and merchandise presentation of sales floor.
- Pre-sort donations into proper work stations.
- Determine quality of merchandise and prepare for sales floor.
- Assist truck drivers in loading and unloading trailers.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
- Able to work at least 8 hours per scheduled workday.
- Able to work a flexible, rotating work schedule including evenings and weekends as assigned.
