Retail Associate
About the role
The Sales Associate reports to the General Manager and plays a crucial role in providing medical marijuana guidance and education to patients. This position ensures all necessary paperwork is completed and entered into the system for future reference, confirms patient purchase limits, and maintains positive customer relations.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all intake forms and other paperwork are properly completed and filed correctly, then enters all appropriate information in ADILAS for future reference
- Confirms patient purchase limits prior to admission into the consultation area and informs the appropriate pharmacist of such limits
- Provides exceptional customer care by promoting and maintaining positive customer relations
- Responds to calls or emails from customers requesting product, training, and general information
- Manages patient records through the use of an MMJ database
- Maintains and updates databases as needed
- Fulfills customer orders
- Sells and promotes all Columbia Care products
- Builds and maintains a high level of integrity and trust for specific products
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Two years of direct customer service experience required
- Retail experience a strong plus
- Experience with Point-of-Sales systems
- Understanding of and experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Outlook
Additional Abilities Required
- Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
- Use hands to perform manual tasks
- Lift or move up to 50 pounds (or more with assistance)
- Speak and communicate verbally with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week including weekends
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
