Retail Assistant Store Manager, Fabletics (Fashion Place - Murray, UT)

About the role

Fabletics is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for their retail store at Fashion Place in Murray, UT. This role requires a passion for retail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive both sales and operational excellence using cutting-edge technology.
• Support the Store Manager and peer Supervisor in training store Associates and preparing them for engaging customers.
• Manage the store's daily activities and ensure they align with company and store goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager to enhance the customer experience.
• Maintain store merchandising guidelines to make the store easy to shop and add value to the customer’s purchase journey.
• Participate in providing and nurturing feedback from all levels of the organization to continuously improve the business.
• Strive for excellence, meeting and exceeding store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales goals and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required, weighing up to 30 lbs.

Requirements

• 1-year minimum of management experience within a retail environment.
• Prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners inside and outside of the store environment.
• Ability to work with large teams.
• Great interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A high degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity, including the ability to take initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• A self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to bring the best out in others.
• The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to work onsite and maintain a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Compensation details are confidential and will be provided upon successful completion of the interview process.

Schedule

The position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders may also be required.
