Retail Assistant Manager - Nature's of Fort Lupton

About the role

Natures of Fort Lupton is seeking a full-time Retail Assistant Manager to support daily operations at their licensed cannabis dispensary in Fort Lupton. This leadership role serves as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts and regularly opens and closes the store as part of the leadership rotation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) during assigned shifts, including regular opening and closing responsibilities
• Supervise budtenders and front desk staff to ensure strong customer service and sales performance
• Open and close the dispensary, including drawer counts and end-of-day cash reporting
• Perform accurate cash handling, tracking, and required documentation
• Process discounts, and pricing issues within the POS system
• Address escalated customer service issues professionally and effectively
• Ensure compliance with all MED regulations, state cannabis laws, and company SOPs
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready sales floor
• Delegate tasks and support staff performance throughout each shift
• Count, record, and distribute employee tips accurately, including front desk allocations

Requirements

• Ability to work full-time with open availability, including weekends and holidays
• Proven ability to accurately handle cash, including drawer counts and documentation
• Experience working in a retail environment requiring accuracy, accountability, and adherence to procedures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide direction and address issues professionally
• Comfortable enforcing company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Demonstrates high ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with the cannabis industry is a significant advantage
