About the role

Riveron is a business advisory firm focusing on the office of the CFO, private equity, and other capital providers. We are seeking a Manager to join our Restructuring & Turnaround Services (RTS) Value Creation team. This role supports the execution of operationally focused value creation initiatives for both underperforming and healthy businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute operational and financial diagnostics to identify key performance drivers, including detailed financial and variance analysis
  • Support the identification, quantification, and prioritization of EBITDA and cash flow improvement opportunities
  • Develop and support execution of actionable, bottom-up improvement plans with clear KPIs and milestones
  • Drive day-to-day execution of cost optimization and performance initiatives, working closely with client teams
  • Support senior leaders in partnering with executive leadership, Boards, lenders, and Private Equity sponsors
  • Support and contribute to cross-functional initiatives across: COGS and SG&A optimization, manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement improvement, customer, product, and SKU profitability, pricing and commercial effectiveness, working capital optimization and cash management
  • Translate financial and operational insights into actionable strategies and execution plans that drive measurable value
  • Manage workstreams and mentor junior team members while ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Contribute to business development efforts and support sponsor communications
  • Play a hands-on role in analysis, modeling, and on-the-ground execution with client teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in value creation, financial and/or operational consulting, or performance improvement
  • Experience contributing to EBITDA and cash flow improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to support diagnostic, design, and execution of performance improvement initiatives
  • Strong operational finance capabilities, including financial analysis, variance analysis, and understanding of cost structures
  • Experience supporting value creation initiatives in partnership with Private Equity sponsors
  • Experience supporting cross-functional operational initiatives across supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, and/or commercial functions
  • Able to operate effectively in time-sensitive, high-intensity environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience conducting or supporting Quality of Earnings (QoE) analyses and translating findings into operational value creation plans
  • Background as an operator (e.g., interim leadership or line management)
  • Experience in industrials, manufacturing, distribution, or business services sectors
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Familiarity with leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance financial analysis, operational insights, and decision-making

Compensation Range

$135K - $175K
