Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center offering new and gently used furniture, appliances, home goods, and building materials. Responsibilities
- Assist donors with donations.
- Enter donation data into Salesforce.
- Price donations and items to be sold on sales floor.
- Sort and properly recycle items that won't sell.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Answer customer questions.
- Evaluate acceptability of donations.
- Work with volunteers as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or similar environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 80 lbs.) repeatedly and safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- A commitment to Habitat for Humanity’s mission, values, and environmental stewardship.
- Willingness to work with volunteers, diverse staff, and customer base.
- Home Appliances/Repair experience is a plus.
