Responsibilities

• Ensure residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect by overseeing and supervising all aspects of the restorative nursing department.
• Evaluate residents’ restorative nursing programs.
• Perform resident assessments.
• Participate in the resident admission and discharge planning.
• Contribute to resident care plans and complete portions of MDS and other documentation.

Requirements

• An unencumbered State of Illinois License, Registered Nurse (R.N.) or Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.), and CPR certification.
• Two (2) years RN or LPN experience as a Restorative Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
