About the Role
Signature Rehab is dedicated to providing top rehab care to residents of Signature HealthCARE nursing homes nationwide, as well as other individuals on an outpatient basis. Signature Rehab has expanded into managing the Restorative Nursing Program. We are currently recruiting a Restorative Nurse to lead the restorative nursing program.
Responsibilities
- Perform restorative nursing procedures that maximize the residents’ existing abilities, emphasize independence instead of dependence, and minimize the negative effects of disability with an attitude of realistic optimism under the supervision of a restorative nurse.
- Assist as needed with potential admissions at the building.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse with required state licensure.
- One (1) to three (3) years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to recognize resident’s needs such as ROM exercises and ambulation limitations.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8-hour day shift with occasional weekend rotation.
