Restorative Aide

Duties

• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Give treatments, perform tests, carry out procedures and collect specimens as instructed.
• Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
• Transfer, transport and escort residents as needed.
• Change bed linens, make beds and keep rooms clean and orderly.
• Affords ongoing assessment of residents’ needs to promote independence.
• Maintains accurate records of observations and services rendered to residents.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license
• Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred

Schedule

The shift differential rates are as follows: 3pm-11pm shift is $3.00 an hour, 11p-7a shift is $4.00 an hour and a weekend shift is $5.00 an hour. Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.
