Essential Functions
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record patient progress
- Communicate with the nursing staff regarding patient care
- Auxiliary with transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications
- Current certification as a nursing assistant in the state of Employment
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients
