Responsibilities

• Respond to assigned service calls following SERVPRO ® production guidelines
• Communicate with the Restoration Supervisor to ensure all customer needs are met
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Keep a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Set up staging equipment for each project
• Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes
• Extract water, set up equipment, clean surfaces and perform demo for restoration projects
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Understand, follow, and perform safety and risk management guidelines along with production processes
• Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
• On call rotations for after-hours emergencies

Requirements

• A team player with a positive attitude
• A strong work ethic
• Strong verbal communication skills
• A high school diploma/GED
• IICRC certifications are a plus
• Experience in cleaning/restoration is a plus
• Good fit for those with carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control and general labor experience
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Qualifications

• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Exposure to cleaning products
• Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, under buildings or attics)
• Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Pay

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Opportunity to travel to disaster areas during regional storm events
