Responsibilities
- Respond to assigned service calls following SERVPRO ® production guidelines
- Communicate with the Restoration Supervisor to ensure all customer needs are met
- Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
- Keep a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment
- Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
- Set up staging equipment for each project
- Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes
- Extract water, set up equipment, clean surfaces and perform demo for restoration projects
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
- Understand, follow, and perform safety and risk management guidelines along with production processes
- Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
- On call rotations for after-hours emergencies
Requirements
- A team player with a positive attitude
- A strong work ethic
- Strong verbal communication skills
- A high school diploma/GED
- IICRC certifications are a plus
- Experience in cleaning/restoration is a plus
- Good fit for those with carpet cleaning, construction, lawn care, pest control and general labor experience
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Exposure to cleaning products
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, under buildings or attics)
- Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
Pay
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Opportunity to travel to disaster areas during regional storm events
