Restoration Superintendent - Construction

About the role

The construction Restoration Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned restoration, reconstruction, and capital improvement projects, including but not limited to vendor selection, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assistance. The construction Restoration Superintendent is also responsible for working closely with occupants and property owners throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Follows scope and notify Project Director of discrepancies.
• Ensures all work is contracted/subcontracted.
• Obtains building permits as required and follows all government guidelines for each permit and project.
• Adheres to all OSHA and Environment regulations.
• Assists with change order amount when requested.
• Manages subcontractors to verify that they are supplying adequate resources to meet contract requirements.
• Secures project resources in the most cost-effective manner and ensures they are on site at the appropriate time.
• Manages bid-buy out with trade partners.
• Ensures project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards.
• Directly supervises BluSky personnel on projects as required.
• Adheres to all company Best Practices.
• Always provides the highest level of customer service.
• Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
• Executes proper subcontractor agreements per company guidelines.
• Ensures all subcontractors are working under a subcontract agreement.
• Approves or rejects invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your Project Accountant.
• Develops and updates project schedules.
• Updates and provides schedules to Project Director and Profit Center Leader weekly.
• Responsible for directing, mentoring and training junior level team members.
• Represents BluSky emergency mitigation on-call management rotation.
• Meets or exceeds billing, revenue, and profit margin goals as defined by BluSky.
