Restoration Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning and delivering projects that meet Restoration Relief requirements for schedule, budget, and quality. The PM will lead a project team consisting of a Project Coordinator (PC), Estimator, and others as required by the project, driving each project to successful completion while maintaining a clear understanding of the funding status.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team, including:
  • Project Coordinator (PC)
  • Estimator
  • Mitigation/Reconstruction/Cleaning Technicians
  • Tradespersons
  • Suppliers
• Coordinate with stakeholders, including:
  • Public authorities having jurisdiction over the project
  • Client
  • Adjuster
  • Restoration Relief Business Developer (BD) associated with the project
  • Restoration Relief operation management for resource allocation
  • Internal Reconstruction, Cleaning, and Content labor/resources
• Make decisions regarding the following, within company policies and procedures:
  • Construction means and methods
  • Project schedule sequence and start dates for resources
  • Project budget
  • Primary contact for the client and adjuster on decisions
  • Project safety
  • Project quality and client satisfaction
  • Completeness of the digital project record, ensuring documentation of key conversations and progress
• Support Business Development efforts, including:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients and referral sources
  • Attending company-sponsored networking events
  • Entertaining referral sources (e.g., lunches, golf outings)
• Additional responsibilities:
  • Participate in the On-Call rotation
  • Deploy with field crews during emergency response as required
  • Attend training seminars
  • Attend weekly production and staff meetings
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• Three years of experience working in the Disaster Restoration field
• Solid understanding of construction means and methods
• Proficiency with project financials, budgeting, and scheduling on multiple projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good driving record
• Ability to work under high levels of activity
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Pay

$65,000–$80,000 per year
