Position Summary

The Lead Water Mitigation Technician is responsible for performing advanced mitigation services and leading crews in the field. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows water damage restoration, can run a job site, and takes ownership of both the work and the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and lead water mitigation services on residential and commercial losses
  • Execute water extraction, drying, and remediation procedures
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment to ensure proper drying standards
  • Perform demolition, cleanup, and debris removal as needed
  • Set up containment and follow proper job site and safety procedures
  • Lead and support technicians on-site, ensuring quality and productivity
  • Communicate job progress with management and assist with required documentation
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards

Requirements

  • IICRC WRT certification required
  • Proven experience in water mitigation and restoration
  • Previous experience leading or training crew members preferred
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and operate in tight spaces
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fire and smoke restoration experience (IICRC FSRT) is a plus
