About the role
We’re looking for a Restoration Crew Chief for residential and commercial fire and water clean-up and restoration. This position involves directing and supervising Restoration Technicians on projects including specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs, pack-ins, and content cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the timely, quality completion of assigned restoration cleaning, moving, packing, or general labor projects.
- Directs, aids, and supervises Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers assigned to the project.
- Evaluates competence and quality of Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers.
- Ensures continuous training and skill development for Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers.
- Maintains the security, integrity, and cleanliness of all Company equipment and supplies used on projects.
- Ensures productivity of assigned Restoration Technicians and Staff Laborers.
- Completes all required restoration project documentation, including forms and photo-documentation, per established protocols.
- Ensures excellent customer communication and relations.
- Performs other duties as required, which may include job functions outside the normal scope.
Requirements
- Restoration or carpet and upholstery cleaning experience.
- Previous experience as a Crew Chief in fire and flood restoration.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel out of town.
- Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Water Restoration Tech Certification (WRT).
- Previous restoration experience is a plus.
Pay
$26–$30 per hour, plus commission (negotiable based on experience).
