About the role
Restaurant cashiers play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by providing efficient and friendly service in a fast‑paced environment. The position involves maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, accurately processing payments, and ensuring high‑quality food service. No experience is required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Take customer food orders, answer menu questions, and address customer needs.
- Balance a cash register and suggest additional sales opportunities.
- Accurately and safely prepare orders from various kitchen stations (sandwich line, fry station, grill, etc.) according to the restaurant concept.
- Use methods and technologies to maintain proper food‑safety conditions and deliver fresh, safe products.
- Cross‑train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 25 + pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperature environments.
- Strong customer‑service orientation.
- Willingness to learn and be trained on all duties.
