Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the store
- Take customer orders and provide helpful suggestions based on their preferences
- Ensure that customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience
- Address any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standards
- Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling
- Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes
- Maintain quality and presentation of food items
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments)
- Accurately handle cash and provide correct change
- Absolutely balance the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting
- Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen
- Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Absolutely assist with the training of new team members as needed
- Absolutely support team efforts during busy periods and ensure the store runs efficiently
- Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessary
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to management
- Absolutely ensure that all ingredients and materials are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety
- Help with opening and closing the store, which may include setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store

- Basic Math Skills: Able to accurately process transactions and manage cash
Requirements
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Must adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds, Standing for long periods and moving around the store, Some tasks may involve bending, kneeling, or lifting
