Restaurant Team Member (Cashier & Kitchen) - Godfather's Pizza

LV Petroleum is searching for Restaurant Team Members to join their ICONIC Godfather's Pizza restaurant located inside of their bustling travel center. WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held weekdays from 11am - 4pm inside of our travel center (at Godfather's) located at 16250 N AVE, HOLLAND, IA Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist customers as they enter the storeTake customer orders and provide helpful suggestions based on their preferencesAddress any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesyPrepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standardsHandle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handlingToast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizesOperate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments)Accurately handle cash and provide correct changeAssist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash countingPerform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash binsFollow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staffCollaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operationsRestock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessaryMonitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to managementEnsure that all ingredients and materials are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety Skills Customer Service Skills: Friendly, approachable, and focused on delivering an excellent customer experience Team-Oriented: Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment Attention to Detail: Ensure food quality and accuracy in orders Time Management: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while staying efficient Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks such as lifting and moving supplies Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with customers and team members Basic Math Skills: Able to accurately process transactions and manage cash Requirements Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environmentAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPrevious food service or customer service experience is preferred but not requiredMust adhere to all health and safety regulationsAbility to lift items weighing up to 25 poundsStanding for long periods and moving around the storeSome tasks may involve bending, kneeling, or lifting Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Weekly PayGrowth Opportunities
