Restaurant Team Member (Cashier & Kitchen)

Join LV Petroleum as a Restaurant Team Member at our Dunkin' and Miss J's locations! We're a fast-growing travel center company looking for friendly, hardworking individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the store, taking orders and providing helpful suggestions based on their preferences.
• Ensure customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to brand standards, following food safety protocols for storage and handling.
• Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes while maintaining quality and presentation of food items.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments), and handle cash accurately.
• Assist with balancing the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen, by performing regular cleaning tasks.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, assist with training new employees, and support team efforts during busy periods.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items, monitor inventory levels, and communicate shortages to management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Capable of standing for long periods and moving around the store.
• Some tasks may involve bending, kneeling, or lifting.
