The Simple Greek is redefining the traditional Greek restaurant with an interactive concept that combines high quality ingredients, open kitchens, and Greek atmosphere in a fast-casual setting. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about cooking, meeting new people, and working in a family atmosphere.

Job Description

• Take ownership of each guest’s experience and feel empowered to take initiative that will improve restaurant operations and atmosphere.
• Patiently and respectfully resolve any issues with guests; be proactive to avoid conflicts, and be reactive to ensure dissatisfied guests return to the restaurant.
• Quickly and expertly prepare and serve all food and drinks according to The Simple Greek standards.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming workspace and restaurant atmosphere which include keeping track of: stock levels, checking and maintaining tables, floors, windows, soda stations, trash cans, and bathrooms.
• Be punctual and take responsibility for your shifts.

Requirements

• Maintain a flexible schedule including some holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Fast-casual restaurant experience beneficial (but not required).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and listen attentively to the needs of customers along with new and current employees.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand, walk, and smile for extended periods of time; stoop or kneel; push, pull, lift, or carry up to 35 pounds; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Noise level associated with this position is moderate.
