About the Role

As a Restaurant Team Member at Panera Bread, you’ll be the heart of hospitality—bringing warmth, care, and joy to every interaction. You’ll connect with guests, impact the bakery-cafe’s business, and serve local communities by delivering Panera warmth through genuine welcome, food with gratitude, and moments of surprise and delight.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ambassador of Panera Warmth in every guest interaction, delivering excellent service in all circumstances.
• Execute duties in your assigned area (e.g., Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC).
• Greet every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care, accuracy, and efficiency using real ingredients.
• Assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas while maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
• Follow food safety standards and cleaning protocols.
• Stay informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude—every guest gets our best.
• Support team success by completing cleaning, stocking, and shift setup duties.

Requirements

• Meet the minimum age requirement (16+) and can lift up to 25 lbs. while standing for extended periods.
• Able to clearly communicate and quickly understand directions in a loud environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for making people smile.
• Ability to create moments of comfort, connection, and joy for guests.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Complete basic food safety training (Food Handler’s Card, as required by law).
• Enjoy working with food (food service experience preferred but not required).

Pay

$16.00 - $19.00 per hour.
