Restaurant Support Staff

Responsibilities

• Assist Front of House staff in efficient running of all restaurant operations.
• Anticipate business flows and needs and proactively set up back stocks to minimize outages and service disruptions.
• Maintain timely and appropriate water levels, table cleanliness, and re-setting to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and provide them with a warm welcome.
• Manage waitlists and reservations, providing accurate wait times to guests.
• Perform additional tasks as requested, such as food running, bussing, hosting, and barbacking.

Requirements

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed with a flexible schedule.
• Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and shift between support duties as needed.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in busser/runner or barback positions.
• General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits.

Physical Requirements

• Works both outdoors and indoors.
• Works in warm or cold climates, high places, and on wet surfaces.
• Exposed to loud noise, fumes, and/or toxic chemicals.
• Works near moving mechanical parts and lift truck traffic.
• Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.
• Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods.
• Lifting may be required.
