Restaurant Support/Busser

Responsibilities

• Provides efficient service and memorable experiences.
• Prepares room service trays with condiments, candles, napkins, service plates and utensils.
• Runs the food from the kitchen to the table.
• Ensures all side work is completed throughout the shift, including but not limited to polishing, silver and glass ware, certain roll-ups, ensuring water vases are full, reviewing par-levels, etc.
• Expedites and ensures all food is up to par and consistent.
• Maintains a level of knowledge of all menu items and beverage programs.
• Assists with setting tables at the end of a guest’s meal.
• Completes the setup and breakdown of a section, including detailed cleaning of the work area and surrounding areas.
• Ensures that restaurant operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
• Works a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Communicates effectively with servers and guests.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Reports any damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a formal dining or upscale casual environment.
• Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, including follow-up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to positively communicate and interact with all hotel departments.
• Ability to grasp, lift and or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods indoors with a thematically climate-controlled workstation.
• Satisfactory completion of background check.

Pay

Pay rate $12.70 per hour + tips

Schedule

Seven days a week, 7AM to 10PM
