Responsibilities
- Monitor servers and bus persons for adherence to service standards
- Supervise service of guests, assisting those in need
- Absorb side work duties and monitor their completion
- Review and prepare daily communication sheets
- Check the restaurant for cleanliness and set up
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate liquor requirements
- Communicate with the restaurant manager regarding special events, house counts, etc.
- Assist in conducting menu classes and taste panels
- Communicate with staff both verbally and in writing
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Willingness to assist coworkers and be a team player
- Primarily works evenings
- Restaurant supervisory experience preferred
- Fine dining and bartending experience a plus
Qualifications
- Experience working in a restaurant, preferably in a supervisory or training role
- Detail-oriented: capable of carrying out tasks with all necessary details
- Enthusiastic: shows intense enjoyment and interest in work
- Dedicated: devoted to tasks with loyalty and integrity
- PREFERRED: Flexible: inspired to perform well with the ability to set personal schedules and goals
