Restaurant Server Part Time (SEASONAL)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to provide excellent service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is guest-focused and passionate about hospitality.

Certifications: Food Handler and TABC Certification. This is a seasonal position from 08/01/2026 to 01/01/2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and seating guests, managing dining reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring prompt, courteous service.
• Answer guest inquiries, communicate menu items and specials, handle customer concerns, process payments, take room service orders, and support food and beverage operations.
• Coordinate dining room staff activities, maintain accurate cash handling, verify age for alcohol service, and provide guests with hotel and local information while following company service standards and policies.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States
• Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed

Qualifications

Hotel experience is a plus. Applicants should have a combination of education and experience, strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to read instructions, perform basic math and cash handling, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Comfortable working in a restaurant environment with exposure to wet conditions and moderate noise.
