Restaurant Server - Full and Part Time

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment.
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events.
• Maintain compliance with ACES Service Program guidelines.
• Monitor and intervene in guest alcohol consumption according to company policy and T.I.P.S training.
• Promote gaming events and promotions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions for guests while maintaining financial controls.
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation.
• Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
• Work all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Serve, pre-buss, buss, and clean your section and your teammate’s section (full-hands in and full-hands out).
• Roll silverware and clean during down time.
• Perform all opening and closing side work at the direction of your supervisor or manager.
• Help team members ensure guests are served in a timely manner.
• Expedite and run food for all tables.
• Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Understand and articulate the menu and drinks to guests.
• Tip out bartenders.
• Stock and clean your section.
• Complete end of shift rolling silverware and side work as a team.
• Work special events, as needed.

Requirements

• Enjoy hosting and serving others.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.
• Qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
• Able to work as a team.
• Able to tolerate a high stimulus environment.
• Able to work at a very fast pace and walk long distances throughout the shift.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to work open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Comfortable and capable of learning new software.
