Restaurant Server

About the role

Here is your opportunity to join the Lake Geneva area's premier restaurant and events team as a member of our professional front-of-house wait staff at the multi-award-winning Hunt Club Steakhouse, Turf at the GN Clubhouse, Crafted Italia and the poolside Deck Bar at The Ridge Hotel. In addition to serving food and drink at our restaurants, you may also be a Banquet Server at GN and The Ridge for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Engage with guests and artfully recommend wines/whiskeys/cocktails/beer that pair well with dishes and individual palates.
• Provide immediate attention to guests once seated.
• Accurately take and enter orders; deliver all drinks and courses at the appropriate times to ensure correct temperatures; and process payments.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least age 18.
• Must be able to operate an iPad and/or desktop POS (point-of-sale) system for order-taking and to process billing.
• ServSafe certification a plus, but not required.
• Availability to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Flexibility to work various venues, as needed.
• Strong communication and sales skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for an entire working shift (8-10hrs).
