Restaurant Server

About the role

We are seeking Servers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and making a positive impact in the lives of seniors. This role involves working in our vibrant community, where you will greet residents and guests with a smile, ensure their dining experience is top-notch, and maintain high standards of appearance and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dining room is spotlessly clean and beautifully set for all meals and events.
• Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring they have a comfortable place to sit.
• Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently.
• Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation.
• Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch.
• Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner.
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously.
• Absorb all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
• Attend all required in-service training sessions.
• Be an active member of the community's emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
• Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm.

Requirements

• Must obtain an accredited food handler certification within 60 days, as per State guidelines.
• A High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.
