Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet, seat, and assist guests with menu selections
- Take and accurately relay orders to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal
- Use suggestive selling techniques for appetizers, desserts, and drinks
- Address and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Clear tables and reset for new guests
- Process checks and payments accurately
- Complete assigned side work and maintain a clean work area
- Support team members to ensure smooth service
Minimum Education Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience/Skill Requirements
- A friendly, professional demeanor with a neat, well-groomed appearance
- Strong public relations skills and enjoyment in meeting guests
- Ability to remain poised and handle difficult situations with tact
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to varying work hours
- Dependable, honest, and open to feedback and training
- Knowledge of food, drinks, garnishes, and menu service times
- Familiarity with table setups, condiments, and overall food & beverage operations
