Restaurant Server

About the role

A Server coordinates the entire service station, ensuring seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and present them with the menu
• Inform guests of specials, menu changes, and answer questions about food, beverages, and allergens
• Take food and beverage orders and relay them to kitchen staff and bartenders using a POS system
• Coordinate with hosts, table support, kitchen staff, and bartenders to manage service flow
• Present, open, and pour wine and beer for guests
• Assist the table support team with stocking workstations, clearing, and resetting tables
• Operate the cash register at counter-service restaurants when needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1+ years of server experience preferred (fine dining experience is a plus but not required)
• Knowledge of sequence of service and dining room procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to maintain well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours (standing, walking, bending, squatting)

Pay

Pay rate is $7.25 per hour plus tips.
