Restaurant Managers at TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a consistently high level of guest satisfaction and TEAM performance. This full-time, on-site role is located in several regions: Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Detroit MI and includes managing staff, scheduling, supervising front-of-house and back-of-house activities, and maintaining quality and safety standards for food and beverages.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training, and coaching TEAM members
• Monitoring service levels
• Resolving guest concerns
• Driving sales and profitability
• Managing inventory
• Supporting marketing initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations
• Providing hands-on leadership and active presence on the restaurant floor
• Collaborating with the management team to achieve operational and financial goals

Qualifications

• Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to build positive guest relationships and handle concerns professionally
• Experience in hiring and developing TEAM members, including interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance feedback
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, TEAM members, and leadership, both verbally and in writing
• Hands‑on knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including safety, quality standards, and basic restaurant financials
• Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred, with a track record of leading diverse TEAMS
• Ability to work a flexible full‑time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to acting with integrity
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in hospitality, business, or related fields is a plus
