About the role

We are seeking an energetic, creative, driven, and self-motivated Restaurant General Manager to take ownership and drive the performance of our new restaurant. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage all food and beverage operations, deliver an excellent guest experience, and maximize sales and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Manage all food and beverage operations
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
• Maximize sales and revenue
• Ensure compliance with company standards
• Consistently deliver product and presentation based on established recipes and standards
• Recruit, manage, train, and develop the food and beverage team
• Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to food costs, liquor costs, and payroll
• Maintain accountability for monthly food, beverage, equipment, and supplies inventories
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continued improvement
• Conduct communication meetings
• Aid other departments as needed and maintain good working relationships

Requirements

• Passion for service and the Food and Beverage industry
• A minimum of three (3) years of restaurant management experience
• Knowledge and experience with forecasting, budgeting, inventory, and Food & Beverage Cost, and labor management
• Ability to comply with all health department standards, including certifications
• Strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills
• Attention to detail, efficiency, consistency, and organization are a must
• Ability to multi-task
• Reliability, flexibility, and ability to work nights, and weekends on a full-time basis
• Ability to accurately handle money and credit card transactions
• Self-starter willing to motivate and develop team members
