Contract: Permanent - Full Time, 40 hrs over 5 shifts a week including some weekends

About the role

As Restaurant Manager, you will lead our front of house team, taking ownership of a thriving hospitality operation where quality, service, and resident experience are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimise staff rotas, ensuring effective cover while working within agreed budgets
  • Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing front of house team, maintaining Richmond Villages’ high standards
  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, delivering an exceptional experience across dining, bar, and room service
  • Plan and deliver events and functions, maximising the use of village spaces to drive engagement and revenue
  • Build relationships with local businesses and organisations to increase external bookings and revenue opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with marketing to promote events, functions, and dining experiences
  • Work closely with the kitchen and wider teams to ensure seamless service and a consistent guest & resident experience
  • Manage dietary, allergen, and alternative meal requirements safely and effectively

Requirements

  • Experience managing a team in a hospitality or catering environment
  • CIEH Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety (or equivalent)
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Ability to develop relationships with residents using a person-centred approach
  • Organised, flexible, and professional with a team-player attitude
  • Ability to work under your own initiative and lead by example
  • Commitment to delivering an excellent hospitality experience
  • Completion of a DBS check (Bupa covers the £40 cost)

Pay

£29,221 per annum

Schedule

Shift Pattern: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
