Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensuring that our restaurant is fully and appropriately staffed at all times
- Interviews, trains, counsels, and coaches staff
- Ensures all training materials, development and schedules are being followed
- Clearly communicates with all Team Members
- Ensures a harassment-free environment for all Team Members
- Manages and makes adjustments to labor on a shift-to-shift basis while ensuring we don't harm the Guest experience
- Achieves budgeted sales and profit goals
- Maintains operational excellence so our restaurant is running efficiently and effectively
- Ensures that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are being followed
- Creates a restaurant atmosphere that both patrons and employees enjoy
- Variety of other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a FULL SERVICE restaurant as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Great leadership skills
- Familiarity with restaurant management software
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff
- Genuinely hospitable, warm, sensitive, and polite to our Guests
- Excellent problem resolution/Guest recovery skills
- Attention to detail/organized
- Able to work while standing and moving at a rapid pace for 10 hours as the job requires
- Dependable, trustworthy
- Team player
