About the role

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager at Lazy Dog, a family-run group of restaurants in Southern California. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant management experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun and engaging work environment
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, and community partners
• Lead and direct a dynamic team of employees
• Train, develop, and coach a group of talented individuals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage inventory and budgeting
• Oversee kitchen operations and food quality
• Manage the restaurant's social media presence
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant management experience
• The ability to create a fun working environment
• The ability to build sales and relationships with a past record of success
• The ability to lead and direct energetic team members
• The ability to train, develop, and coach a group of talented people
• Must be excited about achieving personal and professional growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma (preferred)
• CA Resp Beverage Certification
• ServSafe Card (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia)
• Food Handlers Card (California, Nevada, Texas)
