About the role

The Burleigh Restaurant at the historic Kennebunkport Inn is seeking a Restaurant Manager to join the team! This is a full time, year-round salaried position overseeing all front of house restaurant and bar operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front of house staff management including hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching
• Inventory management and cost controls
• Labor approvals
• Vendor relations
• Ensure guest satisfaction
• Overall floor management during operations

Requirements

• 3+ Years Food & Beverage experience at a high-volume full-service restaurant
• 1+ Year Food & Beverage leadership experience
• Demonstrate natural leadership qualities with a positive, team-focused attitude
• Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
• Understanding of restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages

• Available and willing to work flexible hours based on business needs including weekdays and weekends
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Sincere enthusiasm for the role and passion for F&B
