About the role
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for inspiring a healthy lifestyle by serving amazing food and smoothies with a bit of tropical fun! The primary focus of this role is to lead and develop the team, maintain exceptional service standards, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the café.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a proven track record of developing team members into leadership roles.
- Fully proficient in all café positions; willing and able to work in any role when needed.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train qualified Crew Members to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Lead each shift with a focus on goals, productivity, and positive team energy.
- Maintain and adjust employee schedules as needed; step in to cover shifts when necessary.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to uphold brand standards and service excellence.
- Oversee daily operations including food preparation, smoothie making, customer service, and cleanliness.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
- Conduct weekly food inventory and monitor reports to identify discrepancies or issues.
- Manage ordering, inventory, and invoice reconciliation for all products.
- Utilize SynergySuite to meet sales goals, manage labor, and control inventory.
- Oversee all aspects of cash handling, including safe counts and cash drawer reconciliations.
- Review and correct payroll hours weekly; ensure timely submission for accurate paychecks.
- Attend weekly calls, training sessions, and area meetings as required.
- Analyze and interpret Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to identify areas for improvement.
- Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, late evenings, and early mornings.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, management, and team development abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and current proof of insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to quickly learn other systems.
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of restaurant experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.

Schedule
50–55 hours per week (flexible hours). Must be willing to start as early as 6:00 AM or work until midnight, depending on café hours.
