Job Summary
Baker’s Crust Artisan Kitchen is a locally owned, specialty casual dining concept that aims to enrich the lives of its team members, guests, and owners through innovative and creative menu offerings. As a Restaurant Manager, you will report to the General Manager and be responsible for overseeing all operations, including marketing, catering, team scheduling, sales goals, and results.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have strong team building skills and leadership experience
- Exhibits passion for food and has culinary/cooking skills
- Valid Food Handler's Card
- Current American Red Cross certifications in Adult First Aid and CPR
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a restaurant manager preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a full-service restaurant
- Able to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Consistent cash handling skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with P&L and sales building
- Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate POS system
Responsibilities
- Understand and operate the business in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
- Comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations regarding health, safety, and labor requirements
- Meet company P&L and expense goals
- Manage financial tasks such as invoices, reporting, and payroll
- Maximize sales and profits by managing food, operating supplies, and labor costs
- Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels; make employment and termination decisions
- Maintain employee files and enforce safety standards
- Ensure proper set-up and cleanliness of service areas
- Be knowledgeable about bar and menu items and provide recommendations
- Greet guests professionally and verify their age for alcohol purchases
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and train staff in various aspects of the operation
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations and enforce company policies
- Maintain strict adherence to food quality and freshness standards
- Conduct accurate and efficient inventories and place orders for food and beverages
- Enforce safe work behaviors to ensure a safe environment for both guests and team members
