About the role

Restaurant Managers at Panera Bread lead daily restaurant operations, deliver a high-quality menu, motivate staff to provide excellent guest service, maintain revenue and profitability goals, and create a friendly atmosphere for guests. This role requires a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for travel between cafe locations as needed — applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered. We have 54 Panera cafes throughout Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of daily restaurant business, including delivering a high-quality menu and motivating staff to provide excellent guest service
  • Maintain the restaurant's revenue, profitability, and quality goals
  • Ensure efficient restaurant operation while maintaining high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
  • Create a friendly atmosphere for guests to meet friends, celebrate special occasions, or complete work projects
  • Invest in and develop cafe teams to execute flawless service and create memorable experiences

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Restaurant Manager (fast casual and/or full-service, high-volume restaurants preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Passion for the food service industry and must be a People First Person
  • Flexibility to commute up to 25–30 miles each way to/from work location
  • Authorization to work in the USA
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel between cafe locations
