Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals using fresh ingredients
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations
- Work closely with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Assist in meal preparation for special events and functions
- Work weekends as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals accurately
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and trends
Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
